Eren Yeager is almost back to destroy the world.

Attack on Titan is the title that even those viewers who swore they would never watch anime had a taste of. Part three of the final season is just around the corner, and here's what we know about it.

Rumors that the last part would be released in the format of a full-length feature film haven't been confirmed. Instead, we will get what no one expected – two super-long series, each of which will be a new part of the final season.

The first part will be aired on March 3, the second one – later this year. For those who managed to forget all the intricacies of the plot during the break, or want to watch the show immediately without wasting time on the first seasons, the creators have prepared a seven-episode project that will briefly tell the story of the Titans from beginning to end.

What to expect in the finals?

It's clear that we're in for one of the most epic showdowns in anime history, one that will put an end to the long-running feud between Marley and Paradis. So get ready for the heartbreaking battle between Mikasa and the Survey Corps and Eren, who became the Founding Titan. Fans are also eager to know the fate of Zeke, who's stuck in the Coordinate, and Floch, who most likely survived Gabi's attempt to kill him.

Attack on Titan was the first anime to conquer not only Asia, but the whole world after Dragon Ball success. It hit the zombie wave of popularity when one of the most watched shows was The Walking Dead.

What began as a teenage boy's tale of revenge for his mother's death at the hands (or rather, teeth) of the Titans has evolved into a compelling tale known for its grim morality and deep reflection.

And if the final parts of the show live up to the high bar set by the previous seasons, we will definitely have one of the greatest TV shows of our time.
