Finally, some answers.

American Horror Story season 12 is about to be released very soon, but there’s nothing much we know about the new chapter of this series.

It is known that 12 will be based on Danielle Valentine’s book Delicate Condition, which is why it’s called American Horror Story: Delicate. The show will bring back the regular cast members like Emma Roberts (whose character Anna is going to be pregnant), Billie Lourde, and others.

But there will certainly be some new faces. One particular new face that has caused a lot of buzz online is Kim Kardashian. At this point, almost every fan has already expressed their attitude towards this decision of the director. Good or bad…

The general sentiment in the fandom is that we all need to wait and see how Kardashian does in the show, because let’s be honest, American Horror Story is no stranger to exceeding expectations.

For now, we know the name of Kim's character, Siobhan Walsh, and that's about it. However, there is one theory that may give us a very possible explanation through spider-related mythology.

As we have seen on many AHS season 12 posters, Kim's character appears to be pregnant, but with the giant spider as her belly. And that has given way to theories linking Kardashian's character to Greek mythology, specifically the goddess Arachne.

Her name comes from a Greek story, one of Ovid's poems. According to the story, Arachne was a Lydian maiden who was a great weaver. After some time, she became so full of herself that she claimed to be a better weaver than Athena.

The offended Athena challenged Arachne to a weaving contest, only to lose it miserably. Athena was so angry that she hit Arachne over the head with her shuttle, and Arachne hanged herself in shame.

But after some thought, Athena came to her senses and realized what she had done. So she decided to turn the dead woman into a spider. This way, she would have the chance to make webs for the rest of time.

While it remains to be seen whether this beautiful tale fits into American Horror Story: Delicate, we don’t have to wait for too long, as the first part of season 12 will be released September 20 on FX.
