9 Underrated Jason Momoa Movies That Deserve More Credit

1. "Road to Paloma" (2014)

Jason Momoa not only stars in this one but he also directed it. He plays Robert Wolf, a Native American on the run after avenging his mother's rape and murder. The guy's basically a one-man justice machine. He teams up with a drifter named Cash, and they embark on a motorcycle journey to spread his mom's ashes. Along the way, they encounter thugs, bikers, and law enforcement. It's a real heartland drama with gravel roads and dusty bars.

2. "Braven" (2018)

A good old-fashioned action movie. In "Braven," Momoa plays Joe, a logger who goes on a mountain retreat with his dad and daughter. Chill weekend, right? Wrong. Turns out, the cabin they're staying in is a drop-off point for drug traffickers. Cue the testosterone. Armed with bows, arrows, and logging equipment, Joe goes all-out to protect his family in the snowy wilderness.
