After years of anticipation, Netflix's "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is finally out, and millions of people have already watched it a few times just weeks after the first season was made available for streaming. Needless to say, the reaction has been mixed - while some fans of the original are spewing venom and accusing the producers of ruining their childhoods, others are much more appreciative of Netflix's work, congratulating the cast and crew for keeping the spirit of the original intact.

But obviously, the first season of this blockbuster has some problems, with the sheer amount of changes from the source material being the most serious offense.

And as you've seen, some of the changes mentioned on this list were actually quite severe, but Netflix never promised fans a thorough remake, preferring to capture the vibe of the original anime.

And they certainly succeeded in that regard - no matter how many changes the writers made to the story of Aang and his friends, they managed to create a truly magical TV blockbuster, the likes of which hasn't been seen in a long time!
