This is a perfect opportunity to fix old mistakes.

To say that audiences were thrilled to learn of the White Collar revival would be an understatement. With so many reboots, remakes, and revivals of shows falling flat with fans, White Collar viewers seem to trust the team behind this one so much that the news was met with nothing but sheer excitement.

Now that viewers know who's coming back, but have no idea what to expect from the show, they're coming up with more and more ideas and guesses about what the new seasons of White Collar might bring. Here are 8 of the most popular from the r/whitecollar subreddit.

Peter and Neal’s Banter

One of the best things about White Collar was the chemistry between the cast. The banter felt effortless, and viewers hope the same can be accomplished just as easily 10 years from now.

Peter and Neal's reunion has to be the most emotional part of the first episode, but as soon as they reunite for another case, viewers expect the same entertaining banter they fell in love with the first time around.

Neal’s Mental Health Struggles

Given that June and Mozzie will both be gone in the revival, Neal must have felt isolated before coming back. That couldn't have passed without consequences for his mental state, and fans would be ready to explore some of those struggles. After all, things must have changed over the years, and the difference in Neal must be explained one way or another.

…and Neal’s Endless Charm!

But no matter how hard he fights, the fans don't want to see anything too dark and serious. White Collar has always been the show you can watch after a hard day's work and feel good about your life instead of being filled with existential dread.

A big part of that has always been Neal Caffrey's demeanor, and viewers want to see his personality stay the same. Matt Bomer can definitely bring back Neal's swagger, so it's up to the writers to keep him upbeat.

Past Victims Callbacks

There are still a lot of things that can tie the original show to the revival, especially since the three original cast members will be reprising their roles, but it would be fun to bring back something from the past. Throughout the 6 seasons of the original show, Neal helped a lot of people in his own way, and now they could come back to help him instead.

Mozzie’s Mini Me

It's no secret that some of the cast members' children appeared throughout the original run of the series. William Garson's son, who he adopted in 2009, was no exception. And while nothing could ever bring Mozzie back, it would be nice to see his son appear in a role that somewhat resembles Mozzie.

Of course, the White Collar production team has already assured viewers that there will be a touching tribute to Mozzie, but it would have added another layer to the story.

Peter, Elizabeth, and Neal Jr.

One of the most heartfelt moments fans are expecting to see is Neal finding out that Peter and Elizabeth have named their son in his honor. Although we're not sure what kind of influence Neal Sr. could have on Neal Jr., it would have been very entertaining to see them interact, just as it would have been nice to see the whole family together.

Neal and Sara Together

Considering how many years have passed since we last saw Sara Ellis, there's a good chance that she has her own life in London and has completely forgotten Neal and everything they shared together. However, the old flames can still burn very hard, so the moment they stumble upon each other, the feelings may come back.

If there's anyone who deserves a real happy ending, it's this couple, and fans will want to see it on their screens.
