April’s coming, so it’s high time to blossom.

There are films (not necessarily set in spring) which evidently radiate this season’s light, warmth and set quite a romantic mood to be inspired for new experiences and bright emotions.

If you can’t quite grasp that spring vibe, here are seven movies that will help you with that – all of them available on Prime Video.

1. 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

The classics of the 1990s romcoms has you to offer the “springest” things in the world: street sports, poetry, teen awkward romances and, eventually, school prom. Besides, its Shakespeare-inspired plot can encourage you to seek beauty and love all around you.

2. Pride and Prejudice (2005)

Jane Austen's books often capture the essence of spring with its light and pure love, combined with the landscapes of the English countryside. This classic adaptation of her most famous novel starring Keira Knightley can inspire you to plunge into that vibe.

3. Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)

When the spring’s sun hits your window, it’s almost impossible to stay at home, school or at work and not have a day off outside far, far away from your duties. This Matthew Broderick’s movie does it instead of you, giving the desired joyful relief in full.

4. Lady Bird (2017)

Quite a light-hearted, but at the same time serious dramedy, following a high school student (Saoirse Ronan) in her struggle to pass the finals and to manage her relationship with a strict mother and immature boys, is a very uplifting movie to watch in spring.

5. Notting Hill (1999)

This Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant’s romcom stands out due to its charming representation of an unexpected love story between the bookstore owner and the world’s best known actress, happening in, surprisingly, good-weathered London.

6. Emma (1996)

Another romantic and vibey adaptation of one of Austen's masterpieces, set in early 19th century England, follows Gwyneth Paltrow’s titular heroine, who is successful in managing other people’s love life, but then realizes she’d better fix her own fate instead.

7. Big Fish (2003)

Based on the 1998 novel, Tim Burton’s atmospheric masterpiece, following the fantastical story of a dying delusional man and his son who wants to understand him better, invites you to enter the world of fantastic tales and romantic landscapes.
