If you loved the chaotic, body-swapping family fun movie, you'll want to check out these titles.
From identity-swapping to wholesome lessons about love and family, you'll find it all on our list.
The Princess Switch
6.1 on IMDb
The Princess Switch tells a story similar to the 1998 classic The Parent Trap, but this time two identical but unrelated strangers meet by chance.
Starring High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens, royalty and Christmas come together in this cozy and funny movie when sous chef Stacy arrives in snowy Belgravia and meets her doppelganger, Dutchess Margaret Delacourt, who wants one last chance to feel "normal" before marrying the prince. Stacy agrees, and for two days the two women live and experience completely different lives while trying to keep their switch a secret.
And if you loved the first movie, you'll be thrilled to know that it has not one, but two sequels.
White Chicks
5.8 on IMDb
In this raunchy comedy, two disgraced African-American FBI agents take on an entirely new identity, that of two blonde-haired, blue-eyed "white chicks". Posing as the wealthy young socialites they are supposed to be protecting, the pair hope to act as bait for a potential kidnapper, but everything that can go wrong does.
From dance-offs to awkward dates, the couple do their best not to blow their cover before catching the kidnapper, making for many moments of obscenity and hilarity.
Yes Day
5.7 on IMDb
While some may not think of White Chicks as a friendly family movie, Yes Day is just that. It takes audiences on a wildly entertaining ride as a mother and father decide to dedicate a day to saying yes to everything their children ask for.
Expect epic water balloon fights, crazy outfits, and crazier antics as these parents try to make it through a 24-hour day without saying the word NO.
Just Go With It
6.4 on IMDb
In this classic comedy starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Anniston, a plastic surgeon convinces his assistant to go on vacation with him and his new girlfriend while posing as his ex-wife to cover up his past lies.
His assistant and her two children must keep up with his story and their fake identities, and are there to make the most of their vacation as a "happy family," but things soon take an unexpected turn for the better.
The Adam Project
6.7 on IMDb
This sci-fi adventure has nothing to do with body-switching, but instead stars Ryan Reynolds as Adam, an adult time traveler who crash-lands a time-traveling jet in 2022 and comes face-to-face with his 12-year-old self. He helps his younger self deal with the loss of his father and bullying at school, while enlisting young Adam's help to get back to the future.
The Adam Project is certainly more complex than other movies on this list, but it is a unique journey of self-discovery, healing, some comedic moments from Reynolds, and time travel adventures.
Instant Family
7.3 on IMDb
A feel-good movie that teaches us that family can be chosen, as a 30-something couple takes in 3 foster siblings and finds they are in over their heads, especially with a rebellious teenage daughter. The parents and foster children must learn about each other, through good times and bad, and what it means to be a family in a heartwarming, comedic story.
The Wrong Missy
5.7 on IMDb
Instead of swapping bodies or identities, this romantic comedy tells the story of mistaken identity as Tim falls in love with Missy over text and invites her to Hawaii for a work retreat, only to discover upon arrival that she is not the Missy he meant to invite.
Trapped on vacation with a blind date he hoped never to see again, Tim must keep the eccentric and electric Missy under control and happy to get through their time together without ruining his reputation or career.
