Creative multi-hyphenate Donald Glover is behind this black comedy / drama / psychological thriller. Dre is a young woman obsessed with a pop star, and that obsession takes some pretty dark and unexpected turns. The body count starts in the first episode and never lets up, but there are some laughs sprinkled throughout.

Interesting Fact: Barack Obama's daughter Malia was one of the writers on the show.

The Consultant

If you're looking for an actor to portray sociopathic menace with a tiny dash of comedy, you hire Christoph Waltz. Here the Academy Award winner stars as a mysterious consultant for a mobile gaming company, who appears after the CEO was killed at work. His sinister behavior gets increasingly terrifying as the series goes on, and there are some bonkers twists and turns along the way.

Interesting Fact: The Consultant is based on a book of the same name by Bentley Little.

Wilderness has been described as both trashy and camp – but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Variety, for instance, described the 6-episode series as 'A Trashy, Twisted Masterclass in Vengeance'.

Fingers crossed we'll get another few seasons out of this one, as the book contains a lot of material that hasn't been covered yet.

Harlan Coben's Shelter

Sadly, Shelter has been canceled and there will be no second season.

Interesting Fact: Shelter is the first book in a series of three by popular mystery writer Harlan Coben. Mickey Boliar is the nephew of one of Coben's most popular characters.
