It is difficult to believe in the relationship between these characters, even having a very strong desire to do so.

Plausible presentation of the romantic relationships is a subtle science, the rules of which are still unknown to the creators of movies and TV shows.

Actors can be in love in real life, the love story can be interestingly written, but there will be a chill between the couple on the screen, what can even ruin the whole show.

Wednesday and Tyler, Wednesday

The whole season of Wednesday is torn between barista Tyler and artist Xavier.

And if the chemistry between Wednesday and the artist can somehow be believable, the fans of the series simply refuse to believe in a romantic relationship with Tyler.

According to the fans of the series, all the scenes of Tyler and Wednesday were too long and simply boring.

Emily and Alfie, Emily in Paris

According to the plot, Lily Collins's character does not lose her head over an imposing banker from London. Some viewers believe that Alfie is extremely hot and Emily could at least try to show her love for this man.

Ethan, Harper, Cameron and Daphne, White Lotus

College friends Cameron and Ethan, and their wives Daphne and Harper from season 2 of the series, have become viewers' most perplexing mystery, and their rocky marriages were extremely controversial, each in their own way.

Ethan and Harper's relationship lacked intimacy – the couple seemed more like friends than lovers.

And the glamorous couple of Daphne and Cameron was filled with superficiality, lies, and betrayal. In general, both marriages exuded more cold than love.

Daenerys and Jon, Game of Thrones

Fans of the fantasy series have been waiting for a romance between Daenerys and Jon Snow since the first episodes. However, the relationship that has developed in last seasons has disappointed many.

Game of Thrones creators tried to end all political conflicts, and did not have enough time for a decent development of relations between the characters.

In the case of Jon Snow's first love, the wildling Ygritte, viewers understood why and when the couple fell in love. But Daenerys and Jon's romance happened because it had to.

Joey and Rachel, Friends

Relationship between these two characters looked like a failed attempt by the writers to increase interest in the show. Of the six characters, there were already at least two couples: Rachel and Ross, Monica and Chandler.

There was no need for a third, since the characters lived in an overcrowded New York. Moreover, they looked just awkward together.

Maybe it's because of their long friendship, or maybe they're just not a good match – the strong-willed Rachel is better with insecure Ross than with macho Joey.
