K-dramas do not necessarily mean romance.

The South Korean television industry is best known for its perfect romantic comedies. However, there are many other genres that the industry has been successful in. The zombie shows that they offer are perfect examples of horror and the thrillers that they produce are gripping and do not even use those clichés of crime dramas.

So for all the fans of K-dramas who want to take a break from romance, here are five perfect shows to watch.

1. Mouse

The series where there is nothing romantic to be found, even after a close look. Mouse is a perfect example of a South Korean version of a thriller. The K-drama premiered in 2021 and immediately became a fan favorite.

The main story of the show revolves around traumatized detective Go Mu-Chi, portrayed by one of the most popular actors Lee Hee-joon, and his younger colleague Jeong Ba-reum as they try to finally catch the serial killer who has been playing with people's lives for quite some time.
