While we’re talking about King Arthur still, it wouldn’t be wise to overlook Excalibur. Chronologically, it takes place before the events of Monty Python as we get to watch the future King unite the Britons and defeat the dark forces in real-time. An epic and dramatic tale, it surely features a very different version of Arthur Pendragon.

If you didn’t play Baldur’s Gate 3 as a Bard and prefer a more serious, paladin-style adventure, Excalibur is your go-to movie. It’s still fun to mix it with the previous one, though, as this power duo genuinely defines the two core types of D&D players.

We’ve made it this far without dark witches as primary antagonists, but let’s face it: we’re here for Baldur’s Gate 3 and all things D&D, so it couldn’t last forever. Willow is a great movie to turn you back to the good side after that sick Dark Urge playthrough you just finished.
