The iconic director often uses comedy in his films, so we picked five of the funniest.

Quentin Tarantino is no stranger to comedy, as every single one of his movies has at least some degree of humor.

However, some of the legendary director's works are clearly more serious than the rest, such as Kill Bill.

So here are five of the funniest Quentin Tarantino movies, ranked in our opinion. Beware of possible spoilers.

5. The Hateful Eight (2015)

While this Western thriller is pretty dark and intense most of the time, it is not completely devoid of lighthearted and funny moments.

Perhaps the most obvious example of this is the scene in which the mystery surrounding the letter from Abraham Lincoln carried by Samuel L. Jackson 's Major Marquis Warren is revealed, as it will undoubtedly make you at least smile.

4. Jackie Brown (1997)

There are a number of comedic moments in the movie, but Robert De Niro as Louis Gara provides arguably the most memorable of them.

Seeing him completely stoned is priceless, and another scene where he tries to explain the reasoning behind his "emotional outburst" in a parking lot is pure comedy gold.

3. Django Unchained (2012)

This Western is full of funny scenes, most of them involving Dr. King Schultz, portrayed by Christoph Waltz.

However, the scene where moronic KKK members argue with each other stands out for how absolutely insane and hilarious it is.

2. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt did a phenomenal job portraying Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth, respectively, and provided countless funny scenes.

And the finale is a non-stop thrill ride full of dark humor, making this alternate version of real-time events incredibly satisfying.

1. Pulp Fiction (1994)

While Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is also pretty consistent with its humor, it would be unfair to take away this cult classic's top spot.

And how could we, when it is jam-packed with iconic comedic moments, from "oh man, I shot Marvin in the face" to Christopher Walken explaining the story of the gold watch to "the Bonnie situation" and many, many more.
