2024 is already fruitful for the new horror gems that can creep every experienced lover of the genre out. This year, we have already seen a great number of terrifying flicks. Luckily, Redditors have already discussed them all and picked the best horror films for you to watch as soon as possible.

Here are 5 of the best genre’s must-watches of 2024, according to Reddit.

5. Infested

Firstly, we have a 97%-rated film, dubbed the greatest spider movie ever made by fans. It follows a exotic animals’ enjoyer, who finds a venomous spider and brings it back to his apartment.

The spider quickly escapes, reproduces, and the whole building turns into a large web trap that keeps residents as prisoners, trying to fight with the creatures.

4. Immaculate

Next comes the Sydney Sweeney-starring hit, telling a story of a young novice, who is warmly welcomed to the picture-perfect Italian convent to take a new position here. Soon enough the woman realizes that the beautiful nature of that land keeps dark and horrifying secrets, and it is the convent that spreads evil to its inhabitants.

3. The First Omen

Serving as a prequel to The Omen (1976), this movie is also worth-watching for the fans of The Omen franchise. Just like Immaculate, it focuses on a young woman sent to work at a church in Italy, where she doubts her faith after uncovering a dark conspiracy. The point is her new church is hoping to bring about the birth of the Antichrist.

2. Abigail

This hit movie is definitely a unique example of a horror flick, both by its plot and by its visual style. It tells the story of a young ballerina and a daughter of a powerful underworld figure, who gets kidnapped by a group of criminals. However, the gang was completely unaware that the girl has quite dreadful supernatural abilities.

1. Late Night with the Devil

Finally, there is a 97%-rated movie that received enormous amounts of hype on the Internet, and it’s fair enough. It follows the events of a late-night talk show episode, streamed on the night of Halloween 1977. Its disgraced host tries to boost the show’s ratings, while having no idea that he is about to unleash evil into the viewers’ houses.
