You probably won't see any demigods, but spectacular views are guaranteed.

The Percy Jackson film duology with Logan Lerman hasn't managed to become a big hit. Disney realized that fitting Rick Riordan's work into a movie format was a big mistake, so the studio created a TV show to give fans a deeper dive into the world of the demigods.

But what the movie adaptations and Percy Jackson and the Olympians have in common are breathtaking sceneries. Here are three places you can actually visit if you ever travel to Canada.

1. The Yancy Academy – Hycroft Manor, Vancouver, Canada

Yancy Academy, the private boarding school Percy attended, was filmed in the Hycroft Estate in Vancouver, and the building has its own bone-chilling history.

Hycroft Manor is known for its ghosts. The estate was originally built and owned by war hero General Alexander Duncan McRae in the early 20th century. After the General's death, rumor has it that he was seen walking around the house in military uniform with a lady dressed in old-fashioned clothes, apparently his wife.

So if you decide to visit this estate, be careful, and if you see McRae's ghost, at least say hello.

2. The Camp Half-Blood – Minaty Bay, British Columbia, Canada

And now for the most interesting part – the place where Percy will learn to control his powers and find his friends, Camp Half-Blood.

The real location is Minaty Bay, a picturesque place where many movies and TV series were shot. For example, this place could be seen in the TV show Camelot or the movie Charlie St. Cloud with Zac Efron, where the main character's house was located.

One particular filming process ended tragically – on the set of the Canadian TV series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, actor Marc Arkerstream died from head injuries when he was struck by debris from a boat that exploded nearby.

3. The Hanging Bridge – Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, British Columbia, Canada

The impressive suspension bridge from the episode I Become Supreme Lord of the Bathroom is actually located in British Columbia, just like the previous locations.

In fact, Canada has a large number of suspension bridges, the highest of which is the Golden Skybridge at an altitude of 430 feet, and the most popular among tourists is the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

The bridge shown in the project is most likely the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, which is less well known. The main thing to remember when you go to there is that if you look down, dizziness is guaranteed.
