True love does exist, here’s the proof.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, many people are starting to get into the romantic spirit. Whether you want to spend the day with your significant other, have a night out with friends, or show some love to the most important person in your life, yourself, February 14th needs to be filled with love and positivity.

To prepare for the big day or to set the mood for the perfect cozy date, it's always nice to have a romantic movie or TV show playing in the background.

To celebrate the day of love, and to remind ourselves that true love doesn't always have to be a challenge, here are 10 K-dramas featuring perfectly well-rounded romantic couples with no red flags in sight.

Her Private Life (2019)

It's always nice to see both romantic leads in a K-drama mature and stable. They both take care of their jobs and appearances, even though they sometimes have a hard time navigating adulthood, just like the rest of us. Although the two are forced into a fake relationship at first, it grows into much more and sets a great example for all viewers.

King The Land (2023)

If you are someone who wants to believe in the concept of love at first sight (or smile, in the case of this particular story), this show would be perfect to watch. The comforting and sweet story of the heir and general manager of a luxury hotel and one of the hoteliers with the most charming and sincere smile will not leave anyone indifferent.

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo (2016-2017)

Sometimes we don't see the happiness right in front of us, and this is exactly the case with Kim Bok-joo. She catches a crush on her best friend’s brother and tries to shoot her shot with him, not noticing the true love that her friend had for her for years. Yes, this is a love triangle drama, but that doesn't make it any less adorable.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022)

It takes a lot of strength to stand up to the prejudices of the world and prove yourself in life when you are different from the rest. Autistic rookie lawyer Woo Young-woo knows the struggle firsthand as she tries to make it in a world of cynical people who are unhappy with her methods and minimize her success. Fortunately, she finds her support system.

My Lovely Liar (2023)

Once you have been betrayed, it may feel impossible to trust anyone ever again. For Mok Sol-hee, who is cursed to recognize every lie told to her, opening up to people seems like a waste of time. But when she gets involved with Kim Do-ha, who is wrongly accused of a murder, it suddenly becomes much harder to avoid these feelings.

Crash Landing On You (2019-2020)

We all want to believe that true love can cross any border, but what if the border is a real one, between two countries in a state of cold war? A South Korean chaebol heiress has to crash land on North Korean soil and ends up with a member of the North Korean elite and a captain in the Korean People's Army.

Touch Your Heart (2019)

Opposites attract, and this rule tends to be true for almost every K-drama we watch. Touch Your Heart is no exception, as the story follows a failed actress who wants to make a big comeback, but needs an internship at a law firm to do so. There she becomes the secretary of a workaholic elite lawyer, and thus begins the love story.

Summer Strike (2022)

If you are looking for a story that will help you escape from all the drama and hustle and bustle of your daily struggles, watch out for this one because it might be more inspiring than you think. The show follows Lee Yeo-reum, who gets tired of her life in the big city and drops everything to move to a small seaside town and get a fresh start.

Because This Is My First Life (2017)

There's nothing more heartwarming than two people who decide to help each other find the perfect marriage. Even though they have their differences and quickly realize that there are more complications in an arranged marriage than they thought, they fight through the challenges for each other's sake.

Hospital Playlist (2020-2021)

Although romance isn't the main theme of the story, it develops throughout the first season and becomes more prominent in the second. With all the characters being mature, honest with each other, and dedicated to the hard work they do, Hospital Playlist captures the adult relationship as it should be in real life.
