Looks like everybody's favorite HBO cringe comedy is returning for another season, with Larry David experiencing even more Hollywood misdemeanors.

This long-running show premiered on HBO way back in 2000 and after eight seasons, a six-year hiatus and a critically-acclaimed return in 2018 is still going strong. 'Seinfeld' co-writer Larry David melted fans hearts with his cringe-inducing adventures through the star-studded LA, and each new season takes them deeper and deeper into the unique world of dead-pan comedy.

Playing a fictionalized version of himself, David meets an array of real-life characters, including Jerry Seinfeld, Ted Denson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Winning a Golden Globe and scoring multiple Emmy nominations, 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' is long considered to be a pop-cultural icon, influencing everything from 'Louie' to 'Better Things'.

With seasons 10 and 11 receiving an overwhelmingly positive 94% freshness at Rotten Tomatoes, it's no wonder that HBO's execs decided to give David and co another stab at the winning formula.

Given that the two last seasons premiered in April 2020 and October 2021 respectively, the production time needed for one season is something close to fifteen months. David confirmed the information about the next season during his appearance at the Television Academy event on DGA, with no official confirmation from HBO, so it looks like production hasn't started yet. It is unlikely that Season 12 premieres before early 2023. Prepare your cringe-kerchiefs!
